The Angel Lovers Thread

Soooo jealous right now....I absolutely LOVE angels but waiting to buy a house so I can do a tank big enough to house them properly.....thanks for all the eye candy guys/gals

Too small in the sense of they will be too close and fight?
Angels stake out a territory and defend it particularly against close competitors(other angels). A 40g doesn't provide enough territories to prevent conflict.

This is my new collection of regal and goldflake angels. The tank is not pretty due to hair algae issue but I have dosed fluconazole and the algae is dying off. Just not all gone yet. The fish are all from Liveaquaria on 3/22/18 and they all started eating on the first day. So far I have fed little neck clam and oysters, Hikari mysis and San Francisco Bay brine shrimp as well as some NLS pellets. They seem to be interested in all of them so fingers crossed this time. They are in Hypo-salinity at 1.009 and I plan to keep it this way for at least 30 days. Hopefully the hair algae will be gone by then.

My crew! Flame is the only one not pictured.

Video feeding them for fun too.

Shot another video today. Now they have associated me with food, I get to get really close to them!

The sad news is I have lost both goldflake angel in two days. Both showed same symptom with red blotches on the side. I really feel they were not collected properly. Anyway, I will not be ordering goldflakes for a long time. If these angels along with the butterfly makes it through April I will start building a 300G to host them.
