Hi all, question for the my fellow angel keepers. For those of you that keep multiple species how much rockwork do you have, presumably the more the better so there are plenty of caves and bolt holes to go around? Is the old pound per gallon rule a good start?

- Biota coral beauty 3.5"
- Flame 3"
- Flame 1" (to be hopefully, and very carefully paired with my larger flame before it goes in the DT)

I’ve been seeing some multibars on this thread and have fallen in love. How have all of you guys had success with some of the harder angelfish species? Are they really as difficult as people say?

Thanks I'm getting another 40lb today so that should make a few more bolt holes for the current maj and blueline. Hopefully once the other 120lb is in I'll be about where I need to be to keep them all happy
I just looked back through the thread and saw have two bluelines, how are they doing now have they got their adult colouration? Mine still has the juvi yellow stripe but it's blue stripes are coming through stronger everyday, really cool looking fish and very bold too.

Here is my pygmy angel. Been in the tank for about a week and so far has been at the bottom of the totem pole, even the lawnmower pushes him around every now and again.

That's interesting to know, I believe mine was bred by Bali Aquarich and it's the same story, even when it was less than an inch it wasn't the least bit shy and it does not stop eating! Its not interested in flake or pellets though just frozen and picking at algae.My tank raised Poma Labs Bluelines are the boldest saltwater fish I have ever had. They remind me of freshwater Oscars. They are very aggressive eaters and eat anything I throw at them. They lost their yellow stripes by the time they were 2 inches. They are still leaving the maxima clam alone, but have picked at most of my soft corals. Duncan corals are doing fine with them.
It doesn't really swim like any other angels I've had either although my experience is limited to centropyge and a tiny majestic. The blueline is always swimming at funny angles and zig zagging it's way along whereas the others always seem to have more of a plan and an upright approach to navigating the tank.
It's rapidly becoming our favourite fish

Why not keep both ?
She's the current boss of the tank. I don't want any issues with hierarchy. Bandit is the same size and will be the boss in the tank if I remove the scribbled. Plus... I'm at my max with angels... Adding another large one is just going to be too much for the 215 gallon.
