The apex

I was going to buy a tank monitor and everything I'm seeing is about the apex system. Well I'm very new in the hobby and I seen were you can monitor your tank via smart phone or any computer with this system. Well when you hook up the apex do you connect it directly to your router or is it wireless. The reason is my tank is in another room then the router and I don't want cables across my floor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can buy a wireless router to wireless mobile spot.
I think net gear makes it. It just needs a power source and then u can plug what ever u want into it and it will be routed wirelessly to ur router.

Ok so this wirelessly connects to ur router but provides an Ethernet. Designed for ps3 and stuff like that works for what u want to use it for
