Is this something really needed? I am going this week to pick up my PetCo 55gal tank so there is nothing build, flowing, or put together at this point in the life of my little slice of the ocean. Current plan (which is always up for change) is to do a FWLR tank until I am very comfortable with what I am doing in the saltwater world (perfectly comfortable in the freshwater world) before I think about getting into corals.
This approach also is working for the wife as it is not a total upfront sticker shock for everything, can ease into the full blown tank
