So here we go again. I have been battling this for a long time. The tank was new then had a crash due to extended power outage. I recently pulled the rock out and cleaned with a wire brush. On the softies I did a peroxide dip and I get rid of it but it keeps coming back. I run an algae scrubber that I seem to get a good crop on. Also had a diatom outbreak due to vibrant. I added a Uh sterilizer.
The tank is 22.5 gallon with a 5 gallon sump. There are three fish in there, clown, a fire fish, and an algae eating goby which has been feasting. I do weekly water changes with sand vaccums. 6 nasserius snails..blue leg hermit crabs, and others.
I feed the fish about twice a week flake food with the occasional mysis feed before a change. I target feed with reef roofs.
Water parameters... PH 9.0 nitrates 0 ppm, phosphate .25 ppm salinity running at 1.027. Any help with beating this beast would be great!
