Alright! How about another totally home grown gem? This ones been in my system nearly two years now grown from a small chunk off of a wild colony. Just been marinading so nicely here all this time. 95% of what you see in the pic is captive growth. A few lucky folks have gotten frags of this guy as a sub in for the reef ready over the course but today I finally shot this guy for the site. Perhaps they will chime in on this beauty.
So forget risking top dollar on potential color???? deflating/mysterious "shipping brownouts" or just chopped up wild colonies all together! I promise they almost always looks really extra pretty right off the boat. More often then not, unfortunately they just dont stay pretty or worse. Signature Battlecorals are the real deal, long captive gems proven hardy over time with true to life coloration.
The Battlejuice is no exception, this thing has some of the deepest colored blue polyps i have ever seen on an acro. just outstanding by all comparison
shot under 20k radium
