Sorry for not doing this earlier, I had honestly not been active on this site until recently, and have had a few requests for a members tank thread, so here it is finally!
It all started just about a year ago, I had set up a 14g BioCube, and after only a few short months quickly realized that it wasn't enough.
I went on the search for a bigger tank, and after seeing other reef hobbyists tanks on a local forum, decided I wanted to do the 60g cube (24" cubed)
Luckily, I was able to find one not too far from my home, complete setup, fully stocked! A few calls and texts back and forth and it was done, the tank was mine!
So a fellow reef enthusiast I had met and become friends with helped me with the break-down, transport and set-up. The entire move including driving took us under 5 hours!
This is what I started with once the little bit of dust settled in the tank (we were careful not to disturb the sand, and left minimal water in the tank for transport):
Then I added a few pieces of rock from my 14g BioCube that were leftover from a quick aquascape change:
Then after a little while, my first anemone (a white streak rose bta) started to grow out of control!
So, then I got the SPS itch, and started to convert my tank over to SPS dominant:

super excited, my little boy is gonna drop a double load in his diaper, he loves the 60, every day when I get home he grabs my hand and leads me to the tank to feed the "isssh..."
