I figured I would share this with you before we all go to sleep tonight. At the frag swap I bought alot of coral, so much coral in fact that I forgot exactly what all I bought. So, I brought it all home and aclimated them and got them all in the tank...so I thought. The following Friday, as I was finally getting around to throwing away the bucket that I had put all the water and bags in, I had a very good/bad suprise. I had another coral still in a bag. It was a 4 head acan frag. I immediatley opened he bag and smelt the frag, no foul oder, and there was still some color to it. So I acclimated it and put it in the tank. The next morning I went and got a dip and dipped it. Tonight as I'm writing this, the frag is eating mysis shrimp, got full color, and seems to be absolutely fine. What a lucky break! There are 2 morals to this story, 1) When you think your done acclimating, check again. 2) Don't wait a full week to clean up after yourself.

By the way, if the acan hadn't have made it, there's no way ya'll would be hearing about this. lol

It's amazing how fast I can kill a coral in a tank with thousands of dollars invested in just to keep it alive, and you have one sitting in the dark in little to no water for a week, and it lives. somethins not right here:tongue:

I got a buddy that calls me the coral whisperer! No, but seriously it's amazing. I have got to be one of the luckiest reefers ever.
