the best chalice placement

What are your opinions on best chalice placement encrusting a rock or chalice dome or left on the sand bed or suspended up on PVC to plate out?

I have one pritty low n one mid way

I put mine on the sand and they seem super happy, growing and always puffed up. Tried different placement with a chalice before, but sand is where it always seemed happiest.

I'm guessing or rather noticed That it depends on the chalice type

Depends on the chalice. I have some top mid and bottom of my tank an all are doing great
