The down sizing begins!!!

OMG yes thats awesome!!! Good find as this help a lot

It’s a incredible tank and we have hammered the company with questions. Everything is over built. The 2 vertical partitions in the cabinet are structural supports also, and being a frameless tank, you don’t want any sagging or flexing in the middle. Ghost overflow, comes herbie but supports bean animal, pass thrus for wires, hangers / stress relief for return pipe, felt stickers wherever plumbing has a chance of rubbing glass, guide rails so the ato slides in and out nicely, there’s just tons of little extras you find as you dig into this.

Well I have everything I would need from my current tank so this would be a deal for me like the 2x 36in pre production hybrid noops

Well it's that time I dreaded but has to be done.
I want to go smaller and the first thing has to go is my livestock then the tank. I am keeping all the equipment for the tank as I have to go smaller.
I need ideas on the best way to part with my live stock?(UPDATE just sold my livestock)
I will take better pictures later today

The journey never ends as now we have a new path...........................................
I have sold the 750xxl and starting tomorrow we are going to start moving out the coral and begin prepping for the next tank.
I love this thread as it shows my stumbles and stupidity while having coverstaions with people from all over the world.
Once you start a reef tank it becomes impossible to live without one so I want to use this current build thread to get input on my next adventure. I have been lookin at a few tanks and want thoughts on the direction I take:

This was my first choice as I wanted something 48in as it fits perfect into the space perfectly
With my lights this is and easy coverage as I have my Noopsyche hybrid at 36in with legs that fo out way past 48in plus with 4 xr15 gen 5 blues it would be amazing

Next is a tank that I love the sump and overall tank design
Again perfect way to light the tank and keep sps or anything I want

Here is a tank that I love, but lighting it bothers me because of its shape 36x36 footprint. I know that 4 xr15's would handle it but I would have to gind a way to hank the lights, not to mention it takes 6 monthes to get the tank and thats scary long

The last tank I have considered is anther easy to light tank with what I have on hand

I want any and all input like pros and cons please!!!

1600 shipped for 83g rimless + 26g sump + 9g ato + handmade cabinet + plumbing kit

48x20x20
Stand is 36” tall

We have users who removed a baffle to install a fleece roller and we found algae scrubbers that fit perfect - if you want to go either of those routes

I might be able to get you an extra discount also but it depends on how far you are because shipping costs them 300-600$

I can get members this tank with the plumbing kit as low as 1100 if they can pick it up, and if you need it shipped I can get you up to 10% off depending on your location. If you are interested let me know, there are only approx 13 left and once they are gone…the deal is over!

Beautiful tanks I just wish the lagoon 112 had a shorter turnaround time cause 6 months is horrible
I had the opposite results when I ordered my 170. The site said 6 months so I had a plan in place for the wait.
2 weeks after I placed the order I got an email that said it had shipped.
It arrived in less than 3 weeks from order.
I get it it if you cant wait but the systems are worth the wait, imo.
I have had so many different systems over 30+ years that I wanted a complete system and was willing to wait.
The reason was an lfs had the ext 50 as a frag system and I was surprised at the quality and the complete system was simple. The stand was a plus as I would never do a wood stand again.
Sometimes a system is worth the wait, but only you can decide that.
Good luck with whatever system you go with.
