Well a couple months ago I got myself a green spotted puffer , he is and was bright active and healthy at the shop and is currently putting on some pounds eating like a lil pig when I started to notice a lump near his tail and the dorsal side of his head.

Thing is how do I treat for them?
Do I treat through feeding or will I have to try to do fish surgery to get rid of them?.

Welp I bit the bullet I got out a pair of sharp sewing scissors and made a small incision , with a pipette I managed to suck one of the buggers out of him.
He's still got a big one on his head seems to be going for the eye.

So far the puff is swimming about like nothing happened.

Post a picture of the fish.

Right, lol I'm glad hes doing fine though he's swimming and eating and fighting with the fourline damsel over food as we speak.

Pic or it didn't happen lol but it's hard to get a darn picture since he's moving around alot. If you look close you can see where the small cut is near his tail.

It was really badly swollen there for a couple days. Also please excuse the dirty tank having a bit of a battle with cyano.

Further looking at the worm I pulled out of the puffer I'm suspecting it may be some sort of flat worm judging by how it is generally flat and not round.

After I get the other ones out I might go ahead and start deworming the lil guy with some fritz expel -p or something I can find here to kill off any remnants.
