Will be installing this today after water test. Will post numbers and see if they actually help. Don't plan to change anything currently changing 12 gallons a week on my 90 gallon with total volume of about 120 or so.

Numbers are Nitrates 10ppm using salifert and 0 with elos, phosphate .0 salifert and .03 hanna phosphate.
Randy im thinking same thing but if it lowers anything will be a good $20 spent and im thinking may be good media for a quarantine or even to start a new tank off. I was thinking also of running less rock in my 200 build coming soon and thought these could help out. These things are super light and very porous so has plenty surface area. Hey we have spent money on plenty other things thinking they will help so one more thing cant hurt. My tank seems so much happier feeding more but would like to lower nitrate to about 5ppm and would rather it be naturally. The less time I have to spend working on tank the more I enjoy it. The apex was some of the best money I ever spent, can automate about everything and just have to check few times a week instead of dosing manually and all the other stuff too.

I am It Is just getting started. Need more plants as of now but what I have Is holding Its own. I could up the water changes and get nitrate down but I am experimenting with this block to see If they will help. They have a ton of surface area and Im thinking that It may help lower the nitrate a little. I don't think It will hurt anything and when I get the new tank I can use these to seed the new tank. Plan to use mostly dry rock.
