Well, I think it's clear it's not a pistol shrimp! I think those beady little eyes are the giveaway! My trap arrived today. So as soon as my nitrates go down from cycling and I can out food in, i have a nice peace of scallop ready

I dont think so. Thing seems to be thriving in my toxic tank

Going to have to rethink the capture strat. I baited the trap and put it in the tank, then from the other side of the tank, like an Olympic Sprinter came the Serpent Star .

so I have either got to capture him and put him in the sump in box or go the the pistol shrimp route!
