Hey all,
Been a member for awhile, but i haven't posted much. I'm hoping this thread will get me out of my shell.
In 2009 i started my reefing adventure with a 65 aga tank with HoB external overflow. I went through many trials
and tribulations with this tank including byropsis, flatwarms, redbugs, and incrusting cheato. I see it as my learning curve
tank. This is what it looked like a few months before it was torn down.

Early 2010 i purchased a new 120gal overflow tank. This was gonna be my baby. I put in everything i had learned with my 65
into this tank. I made a very large mistake tho! I used the current rock from my 65 for this tank. At the start it wasn't so bad,
but as the tank got older, more and more pests were showing up (including the incrusting cheato). In reality i was very happy with
the tank. But on of my favorite parts about this hobby is rebuilding and aquascaping. Heres the tank in its prime.

With the new scape, i wanted alot of negative space. Also i like the idea of the corals being the main focal point and not the rockwork. After looking at the previous pic i realized that i scaped for the look of the rock, not the coral. Not sure how it would've looked eventually, but o well. So i tried to minimize rock structures and follow the golden rule of nature. I also used small pieces of rubble to fill in any cracks or holes that looked akward to me. This is what i came up with.

I like how you put that cave in the right side of the scape. Great looking tank! I will follow this one.

Just came from Joes house as he put a few things in the tank. These pics dont even do it justice.
