Hello everyone,
I want to build another 90g tank, will do the lps mix tank. and I want to put some fish in, but I don't know this is too much for my tank or should be okay. please give me a advise, the fish I want to put in is:
1 x brown tang
1 x Power Blue tang
3 x Damselfish ( yellow tail, blue, Fiji )
4 x clown
1 x coral beauty
1 x Lemonpeel Angelfish
1 x Lyretail Anthias, Red, Male
1 x Pakistan Butterflyfish
2 x Flame Hawkfish
1 x Green Mandarin
Thank you

I'm actually working on a stocking plan for my 90g as well, so thanks for sharing yours! I believe both of those tangs need a 6ft tank at a minimum for swimming room and I am leaning towards the Yellow Eyed Kole Tang myself which seems to be a better fit for the 90G dimensions. I also believe the Anthias and Butterflyfish you mentioned also have larger tank requirements, so something to consider especially at this level of stocking. Outside of those, you should also consider what else you're going to have in a tank for corals and inverts. I believe the Hawkfish are known to pick off smaller shrimp.

Both of those tangs are very closely related and will likely have issues
with each other in that size tank.

Are you having coral in this tank? The Pakistani butterfly will eat them, and lemonpeels are among the riskiest dwarf angels with corals.

Anthias are fine in that tank.

Wait 6 months before adding a mandarin.

wow, thank you so much for let me know. I just think want to buy that for my 90g reef tank, this is a new tank. just tranfer a month form my old 45g tank. Yeah, I have some coral frogpaw, mushroom, ect... and so far I have 2 clown in ( 1 nemo, and 1 maron red ), coral beauty, Damselfish , brown tang, koran angle.
so I think I will trade the brown tang for Power Blue and koran angle for Lemonpeel, how you thinking?
oh and like Joro said the Hawkfish will eat the smaller shrimp???

The lemonpeel will be a risk w corals.

Flame hawks can definitely eat small shrimp. However, I haven't had an issue with cleaner and blood shrimp with flame hawks if the shrimp were in there for a month or two before the hawk was added.
