Thinking of buying a Flipper scraper, has anyone used one and is it worth $40.00?

Love my Flipper. Only drawback is it doesn't float but you will quickly get used to using it. Just my opinion.

The one we have at the store sucks. It doesn't get much off and doesn't have much scrubbing power. It's been there for about a year and they said it worked great at first. Take it for what it's worth. I always get the trusty old magfloat out and use that instead.

ReallY?! that has not been my experience at all, in the past or with the new one I just got on BF sale. Do you use on acrylic or glass? i have no experience with using it on acrylic. However, if it worked great and then stopped, might be time to re-up the scraper blade. Also, I honestly think the newer one I just got, is much better/nicer/stronger than my old one. Just my .o2

to the OP: Id say try it out, I like mine. what are you trying to clean? the scraper side works very well, and can get coralline off like nothing else.

I was using an older one and I never saw it new. We've been using it on acrylic. Your probably right. But if it wears out that fast, then I figure it's worth mentioning. My old magfloat is 6 years old and works like new. Just say'n :)
