The frag swap

Please read here before posting. Outside comments are not permitted per R2R's feedback forum policy. This is to allow the buyer and seller to have a streamlined conversation and hopefully come to a mutually satisfactory resolution in a negative transaction. Im new to this forum, and this was my first frag swap. It was all good, untill I recieved my swap. It was 2-3 polyps, and 2 of the frags look like babys from a colony that havn't even developed yet. So, 2 of the frags have 2 polyps, and the 3rd has 3. I just didn't find it as a fair trade/deal. If you only have so little to offer in a trade, why do it then. The ones I sent 2 had 10 or more, and the other had 6, nicely mounted for weeks. 2 of mine look like were just cut from a colony and shipped. They just honestly look like crap. Not trying to be to negative, just how I feel about my 1st frag swap experience. Shipping was good tho, I will say that, but that is all. I understand it was a 3-5 minimum for the trade. But honestly, I bet most made it worth the while for shipping, and sent more.

Sorry to hear of your experience.....That is why when we originally did the very first swap on here actually before it became club-zoa, one of the rules was you had to post the actual frag that was up for swap. We also had a min. limit on how many polyps there could be on the frag or frags....I think that if the rules are stated and you have to have an actual pic of the frag this would not have happened....I was not in on this so all I can say is sorry to hear it wasn't a good experience for you

Dont get me wrong tho. I will do it again. Take the good with the bad. Still a cool concept, and I always have frags to sell or trade, just need more posts heh..

yea these can be ruff somtimes, I personly went into this just to help increase sombody's collection not expecting much but frags i recieved were great so hats off to my trading buddy Rebecca anyways when its a random draw things can get sticky somtimes sry your first was a bad one but there mostly good trades in my experance just gota roll with the bad ones.

Funny thing with that, Rebecca is my fiancee lol. So we both loving the zoanthids. I seen what she got, and am jealous. Nice work...:marv

to me it really depends on what kind of frag they are
if its something of the nicer variant i wouldnt mind a small frag but if its something common then a 2-3 polyp frag would be on the low side
but it really depends on what it looks like i guess, imo
