The Garden -- Rakies shallow SPS cube

Great frag rack.
Is that the famous glass climbing bubble algae snail you also have there?

Yep. He thinks he's camouflaged. There's only a couple like him left, whenever i find one I give him a haircut over the sink.

As for the bubble algae -- The emeralds are making an impact. They're pretty slowly giving me some bare rock spots. It's slow but steady, so I'm happy with their work thus far.

Awesome! I love cockatoo but the noise potential scares me haha. They are the loudest, especially when they're happy haha.

Senegal actually aren't big talkers. They're one of the most quiet parrots you can get actually, which was a big reason why my brother wanted him. Otherwise he probably would have gotten a red breasted cockatoo hah

True, but Shelby is pretty quiet, or low decibel anyway. lol
She is so funny & smart, definitely,....boss over our dog's, cat, fish, and has about 20 words. Love her deeply.
We adopted her from New Mexico Parrot Rescue 7 years ago.

Overall / General update

- Added micro Tomini tang, he's like 1.75" and already nibbling at bubble algae. And a Hectors goby.
- Got about $3k in high end corals the last two days. Lots of soon-to-be-named corals from a major vendor. Also an RRC Goji Berry! (Pics to come)
- Picking up the rest of my corals Saturday!!!

So finally I'll have all my corals back -- Except some of the bigger colonies I got rid of.

I know tang police... I know. But it's the smallest tang in the world, and I know a few people with them and they NEVER seem to get bigger than like 3.5". My wrasse is bigger, I think he'll be okay for a few years at least :)

Some full daylight teaser pics of the new corals (About 14k lighting right now) -- I'll get some shots under my less yellow/white lighting a little later. Sadly these frags aren't huge, so hard to get a good picture with an old camera! ... I sadly really need a DSLR lol.

These are all unnamed pieces from a major vendor that will be named eventually. As colonies most of these are amazing but of course these are little frags that will need to color up in my tank a bit!

Mmmmmmm Goji berry welcome home... for now. ;)

Enjoy and nice photos. Authentic feeling... realistic. Not saturated etc etc. Exciting times!

I'll just move the frag rack closer to the surface for better pics later. It's still pretty white right now though haha

I'll be waiting :)

Any words on the bergs situation?

I could use some too. Aip is starting to get out of control....

Let me know if you have more ;)

I have mine under control but even targeting every 3-4 days and picking off newcomers, they always come back. Unless I win a lifetime supply of ap-x, I'm running out of fight. And then i keep finding vermitids while lookin for aps... ;Drowning

I have hopes that bergs will be my answer. Even if they over populate... wouldnt the available food balance itself out with the population over time?

My buddy will be home tonight and I'll find out if any survived. Hopefully they did! I know he's going to sell most of them locally I'll see about scrounging up a few though.

Slightly better pictures with a slightly bluer lighting (AB+)

Right: RRC Goji Berry -- Will take some time to color and grow
Left: Note the deep blue developing on the base of one arm, with yellow tints and purple corallites starting to show.

Left -- RRC Goji Berry. Very slow grower, requires some TLC to color up.
Right -- Milli: Note the yellow highlighted corallites. I cannot get a picture of this thing with my camera pointed directly at it, the color doesn't show.

Some incredible pieces there, even as tiny frags.

Just keeps gitttttin better! :)

Saturday I'll have everything back home. And hopefully I'll sell a few packs and get a nice DSLR and macro lens. There's some good kits out there that are very inexpensive now.

We will all be patiently awaiting new candy.
