Do you think flucanazole could have caused an issue? (With The Cyano)
Do you know the reason why? Is all the cyano dying?
All cyano is dying, he was the last strand I could find -- Not sure why. Here's what I have been doing;
- Dosed a lil Fluconazole (for Bryopsis)
- 10ml Brightwell Aquatics Hydrat-MG [Kent Tech-M] (For Bryopsis)
- Been dosing AquaForest Bacteria -- Pro Bio S, and Bio S (I dose this once a year)
- Been dosing Vinegar to increase stanky skimmate production (I'm starting to feel the need for a more powerful skimmer)
My no3/po4 has been high (where I like it) but after switching to LED's my corals all darkened up. I was wondering if it had to do with lower PAR levels causing the standard nutrient levels I keep to become "too high" for the light source, so I did some water changes and been dosing vinegar to help reduce. I also decided to use my yearly "AquaForest" 10ml bottle of bacterias. I don't like to dose bacteria all the time, but I think once a year a good 100% water change and dosing bacterias help realign things. I base this on absolutely nothing but hogwash and black magic.
I blame loneliness. Fred was alone on Valentine's Day...

It would be great if Fred was alone but usually he is always around a party of Fred's just like him.
He's actually alone as far as I can tell, but there's some area's I can't see behind the rockwork so he may have family. There's still a little bubble algae though, so his goal of making my tank ugly shall live on -- for now.
I figured it was either the cyano or the vermatid snail lol
The vermatids are annoying, but because I'm lazy i'm letting the corals grow them out. The vermatids and the corals are in a war for who can encrust faster. It also helps with some corals that refuse to grow arms for some reason and just encrust forever...
