The Genesis Reef....God help us.

Following along.
It it going to be slower than I thought. I figured I could get the equipment, set it up, and bingo! look at the fishies!
Now I'm finding there is alot to do and it takes time. I just found out I need to quarantine fish for weeks each time I get one. Wasn't expecting that. I'm not discouraged just surprised.

Yeah, a bit of waiting upfront is way easier than getting it wrong.

I finally got back to working on the stand, (life got in the way). Put skin on, made openings for doors, put on some trim work. Next is paint doors and tank on top.

Water in the tank for leak testing and valve adjusting. So happy, no leaks! This is an old tank, probably 20 yrs or so. Took awhile for adjustments on return and supply but I got it dialed in finally. Pump shutdown did not overflow sump. So overall it was a success.
