Hello everyone,

the name is Felix and I'm from Germany. (so please don't shoot me if i write something stupid as I probably wont use a translator:confused:)
I am 20 years old and go to school/ soon college.
I'm in the reefing hobby for quite some time and just now wanted to join a Forum for the first time as i upgraded my old 55G reef to a custom made 125G Reef about two weeks ago :)

I'll create a post with tank stats and livestock

Good grief! :D Thanks for sharing your tank, Felix. It's absolutely stunning! Welcome to the R2R gang! :) It's great to have perspectives on the hobby from other countries. I'll try not to annoy you with all my questions about your tank and your methods. I'll at least let you get settled here before I bombard you ;) Happy reefing!

Welcome to R2R! That's a beautiful tank.

@reefwiser I am not a part of any German forum anymore :)
When i started reefing I got roasted pretty bad for some beginner mistakes - since then I did not use any German forum and only use English forums for information gathering
Not saying that German forums are bad - just for me they were not helpful back then and I do not feel like giving them another try...
Despite that I still want to share my progress and hear some opinions:)

Hi moonfruit , is that a green tracky on the rocks to the bottom left of the pic
If so how do you think it's getting on up on the rocks , iv 2 and have always kept them on the sand bed
I was thinking about having one on the rocks also but wasn't sure how they would do

@Vincent100 Yes indeed it is a green trachy!
Now that you mention it - I too had it on the sandbed for 2 years in the old tank.
I just put it somewhere on the rocks when I filled the sand in and forgot about it.
It is still sitting on the rock and opens/closes just like usual - I even fed it fauna marin LPS pellets... so I think the trachy is not affected in any negative way
I'd just not put it too high up.
