The great display tank debate

What’s going on everyone, just hopped into the forums for the first time for some opinions. I’m building a new display and am torn between two options.

1. Fiji cube 142 ext
2. SCA 150

I don’t mind building the stand for the Fiji Cube but if I decide on the SCA I would likely save myself the trouble and get the stand with it (maybe reinforce it for peace of mind). The Fiji cube is on sale right now for around $1700 and the SCA runs just under $2400 for tank and stand included. I’ve never seen either tank in person to see build quality, so all thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

Hey I have a Fiji Cube 48 gal and I bought the whole package (tank, stand, sump). If you check out my build thread you can see pictures of the stand and setup. Overall it seems pretty solid but it wasnt without some headaches. I was missing pieces for the stand when delivered but I was able to go to the hardware store and pick up the missing pieces. Mine came with the push to open doors but did not include any predrilled hole so it left me having to drill the stand and I wasn’t super happy with drilling my expensive stand.
Overall, I’m a big fan of how it turned out you just need to be prepared for a little work and googling.
