So I had a ick breakout in my tank a couple days ago. Well today I broke down my 90 to catch all the fish for QT. took an hour or so from start to finish but got to re work the rock in my DT and the fish are now in QT. I'm going the TTM for my ick eradication. Going to suck with the fallow wait but it will be worth it. I have lost 2 of my fish to the ick just hope the others get through it. My hippo is only one showing signs but all are in QT. now for some pics. The first is what the tank looked like before breakdown then the rest are the breakdown and finsh product. Thanks for all the help guys.

The one positive from this is I like the new rock scape and now there is more room in the sand bed.

Pained, been there done that

Know the feeling, as my fish only returned to the DT a couple of days ago.

While they're in QT - and maybe after that as well - keep a flashlight and a magnifying glass handy by your DT. Without fish to bother them, all kinds of tiny, fascinating critters will make their way into the open, and can be almost as much fun to check out as the fish! (Of course, keep an eye on your fish in QT as well!)

Good luck . . .

These are the lessons we learn in this hobby, i bet from this point forward you will never add another fish without proper quarantine time. Nothing more painful then watching all your fish die and destroying your tank. Hope all your fish make it!
