OK. So hubby and I have decided if we are going to do this, we are doing it right with the equipment and tank we want. So I just submitted a quote request to ReefSavvy for a 78 gallon rimless with ghost overflow. I'm not 100% sure how the ghost works so waiting on them to call but we want to plumb with the beananimal method because I don't like noise and also like the idea of having 3 drains. So I will document progression here. It is going to be very slow because we are putting the tank together slowly and getting piece by piece rather than buying the setup all at once. Looking forward to showing the progression to you all!

Yes welcome back! I know the lead times are like 6 months or more at RS right now! Maybe not that bad for a tank that size!

Thanks! That's ok. It'll probably take us that long to accumulate what we want for the tank anyway. :)

Soooooo. We have decided to go with a Red sea Reefer 250. We are going to be getting it in a few weeks. For now, we have our first toy.

Just ordered lights. After much thought we went with the G4 radion xr15 pro. We chose 2 fixtures that we are going to mount to the rail system above the tank.
