The Hawkfish Lover Thread!

i don't have a hawkfish anymore (he was a falco hawk) but i remember him being bulletproof. He survived a tank with a terrible velvet outbreak at a store and i got him for 50 percent off as a result. He was a pretty chill fish and just like to perch himself on the live rock.

Here is my falco. One of my favorites.

I'm thinking of getting a flame hawk for Christmas. What size tank are yours in? Can a pair be kept in a 75g?
For sure man. I have a 55g and my pair have plenty of room to be comfy. I house them with a pair of clarkii, a 6 line, and an algae blenny. I make sure to feed everyday to keep them happy.. and off of my hermits hehe
I will add tho, they need plenty of rockwork. As long as the rock is there they will stake a claim and a den.

Awesome! I heard they have awesome personalities, is that true?

It is true. They will watch and study you. As soon as I walk in after work both of mine come up to the glass begging for food. They don't do it to my wife so they have to recognize me to an extent.
