SCA 150. Herbie overflow, low iron glass, stand and canopy. The whole thing was about 1700 shipped to my door.

Nice! I have a very similar size tank from them.

Make sure to take a damp cloth or paper towel and clean out all of the dust and glass shards (is what I assume they were).

Looking forward to seeing this come together!

I fashioned brackets from shelf brackets you get at the home store, drilled holes and bolted 3 165w LEDs to them. Between them I mounted two 150w HQI fixtures, and I ran the chords for the cross flow pumps and power heads. Next comes the plumbing. Thanks Jon, I will clean it all up once the work is done.

Giving it some more thought, I wanted lights that I knew would work for anything. This build is for the long term, so I invested a little and did the Razors. They are thin enough to work in the canopy, and I know they will do the job.

Running the pipes now, and when that is done, I can finish mounting my electrical. The power strips will be on the right. I am hoping to have the plumbing done this week.

I have collected a selection of SPS that are in our QT and Grow Out tanks. Itching to get them in, I am making progress on the build. There are Jason Fox, Vivid and World Wide frags, as well as some of our own. For months we have been planning, and I have ideas on how I want to do the new tank.

The glass came for the covers tonight. I need to thank my wife. It was special order, and she took care of it. I know not everyone likes glass, but after losing Blenny Hill, my wife's favorite, I don't like losing fish stupidly. As far as gas exchange, we drop the water 10 foot into the basement and pump it back up. Everything is always healthy, so I believe that we are good. I will check the par and make sure we are good as far as light.

I feel like I am cursed sometimes. Came home from work, and the power must have been out all day. The main system has back ups, and seems okay, but the 55 and 37 aren't as lucky. I have them heavily stocked because I was holding stuff for the new tank, and they didn't do so well. A Scopus was dead in the 37, and I am afraid I am going to lose the Clown Tang from the 55. I did 50% water changes and put new carbon on. All I can do now is wait and see. My QT tanks just aren't as supported as the main system, and I am paying for it now.

It is a process, but the reef is coming back to life. All of the fish have settled in together. We combined fish from three different tanks into the big one. James Brown, our Powder Brown loves the big tank. It is funny, our tiny Sailfin follows him around like a little brother or something.

It helps when you have a overflowing 75 to transfer over. Thanks.

Sometimes you get so focused on the numbers that you forget just how beautiful things are. I love our Zoa tank.

Time to let things grow out. We have other corals to add, but I have to see how things go. I want the top filled with SPS, but it will take time to see what fills in.

Vivid's Twilight is encrusted and growing. It has a long way to go, but it is showing good growth.
