I have been looking for a mate for my lyretail for a while (i don't buy online) but ran across these 3 Ignitus.

Shy little buggers. They go to bed at like 7pm.

When i feed they hide till all the food is gone.

Yesterday was day 5 and i managed to get all 3 to line up and take food.

2 of the 3 are now eating pretty good but one i am concerned about, still doesn't trust me and hides and misses meals most of the time.

Any advice?

One of them is very skinny. Small food, like reef plankton or cyclops, in high flow, multiple times a day.

Thank you. I did notice they go for the smaller bites.

I just happened to have both a frozen meaty coral food as well as both phyto and zoo on hand.

Ill get on it, thanks for the info.

Okay i just gave them 10ml of seachem liquid phyto and zoo and a very healthy dose od BRS reef chili (which is basically freeze dried phyto and zoo mixed). I have a cube of frozen meaty coral food thawing.

Ill be gone next week Mon to Sat.

I can get my wife to give a cube of the frozen coral food and put Neptune apex food which includes the smaller coral foods in the auto feeder.

Think that will be ok? Not sure i can get her to mix reef chilli but if i mix it up before i leave ill bet i can get her to grab it from fridge and squirt some in w feedings???

Update 2. I just added about 2 baby spoons of reef chili to the apex cross over diet, put it in the auto feeder and hid in the corner and all 3 came out eating vigoursly.

Will set the auto feeder for 12:00 and 5:30 and with the frizen cube from wife it should work.

Ill give the liquid phto and zoo tonight and twice tomorrow as well.

Thanks again.
