What lenses do you shoot with? I can’t even consider dropping 1k for the 80mm macro. Do you think an extension tube for the 10-55 would be worth it? I saw a few on amazon for around $30

I'm using a XF16-55mm f2.8 but I'm saving for the XF80mm macro crazy expensive... yes... BUT the quality is amazing I've tested it a while back, I have an extension tube from amazon as well but it's worthless very hard to focus :/

Your tank alone has helped me on deciding to go with Triton on my 75g , as I am rebuilding a new stand , and now planning on a Triton sump to light up the fuge with my XR15Pro G3 , kinda like you . Hello everyone,

update... and some pics.

Lately I have been adding a lot of organics into the tank like Amino Acids and coral foods to try and keep organics UP, Kh has been falling so Core7 dosage has gone up quickly which is good and bad LOL

everything is growing apart from 2 acros I lost maybe due to previous problems... I think it's normal will see...

I have been controlling S.G. quite well plus all the elements are in check, so no water changes for more than 3months

So let's see the pics, hope you enjoy them.

how do you like the 80mm?? i use a xt20 as well but only have the 16-55 currently is it worth the $$ to invest into the 80mm?

Oh yes... the 80mm is the best macro lens I've seen... I can say it's better than the canon 100mm macro L

Small update.

Everything is fine
Elements consumption is very high at the moment so I will be changing over to Calcium Reactor, Sr and I are also being deplited quite fast I'm dosing 100ml of Strontium per week and 6.45ml/week of Iodine, this will go up with the change to calcium reactor but that's ok... at 53ml/day of Core7 is becoming unsustainable LOL
