It’s my wedding anniversary today, my lovely wife has given me a gift of a voucher for the “main” display fish for my tank.

Mixed reef, 3ft cube.

I’ve got a pair of platinum clowns
2 damsels
Jewelled puffer
Pygmy dotty back
Flymo Blenny

£100 burning a hole in my pocket.

What do we think ?

Perhaps one, or a couple of anthias? they are very colorful, and very active swimmers, always out and about. Several types available.

Flame angel, tomini tang, regal angel. Don’t know if any of those are actually in your price range though tomini is probably the cheapest of the 3.

I'd go on an LFS crawl looking for a wrasse. You have a semi aggressive tank. So either that or a small tang, if you like the odd their are some beautiful reef safe filefish.

Flame angel would be my choice. Beautiful color and mine has been reef safe.

EDIT: I do have a small gold ring spotted bristle tooth tang (Ctenochaetus truncatus) in QT that is a beauty too. It's always nice to have a bristle tooth tang.

I’m a bit worried about tangs due to the dimensions of the tank, I’m not sure on my size limit really

I think a bristle tooth would be fine in a 3ft cube. The other species I would say no.
