The Krakatoas New Contender???

I think that this picture of this paly deserved its own thread. The more I keep looking at this thing the more I am falling under it's spell.. I think I am in love...lol.. The Krakatoa as of right now is undefeated in over all looks and holds records in the hobby that I thought would never be surpassed... Everyone, all over the world on different forums keeps putting the Krakatoa to the test against the nicest z/p's in the hobby but have been unsuccessful in defeating the Krak... If this thing is really that bright in person then I think the Krak may actually have a contender, the first and only that I have really seen. The wife doesn't think its real. What are your thoughts on this bad boy? Does anyone know anything about it? Where is this picture from? Most importantly where can I get one?

Looking at the lunars next to it and the rock I'd say color intensity should be close. Either way the patterns and fat skirts are the difference maker.

This thing is awesome and definitely gives the krak competition

Another that will sell for $500 a polyp. Then a year or 2 will sell for $20-$40 a polyp.

I thought price for years were determined by colors and patterns. This polyp have colors that floods this hobby. It use to be about blues and rainbow patterns. Now its about just a darth maul with a green skirt.

since when did a olive green skirt make a polyp go from $20 to $500?

Hallu is a morph of a maul.I had a chance a while back to get a bunch of the hallucination on one of the those mari rock that has about a hand full of the hallucination growing along the darth maul on the same rock.the lfs did not want to frag it and so I pass since I already had the D.maul already.Think I regreted it?You bet,it would have cost less then 1 hallucination for the whole rock

maybe if we dont hype this dang paly up it would go for about 50-100pp at first and then make its way up. But with everyone talking your going to inflame the price and you dont even no where they are. TIME TO START SEARCHING!!!!!! put those finger to over crunch time! firstone to find it should buy it and rub in it our faces well ima get searching. ill tell you this much that is a wholesalers photo i think from facebook.

I know what you are talking about, another prime example are the red hornets but there are many that still hold value, JF Bloodshots (waiting to get some new ones and try them out again), bowsers, shazaams. The best example is hallucinations, many have them but they have proven themselves to be hard to keep for many and have a high mortality rate so the price stays up on them. These new polyps that are coming out can not be found in your local fish stores so it makes you think how many there really are.

I don't know that it's a morph of a morph but the Hallucination is a morph of the darth maul.That rock that I mention sat aroundfor a while.The lfs lost that rock during a move to relocate the shop

Do you see a big difference in color??? I actually think it looks brighter in my tank than what is portrayed in the photo from GB. Not really a big difference in color
