can anyone give me a species name? It came from Australia on my leather

The two I know that can look like this are both relatively rare from Australia, but there's Sabella pavonina, the Peacock Worm, and (more likely because of size, location, coloration, and tube growth/location) Protula tubularia, the Red-spotted Horseshoe Worm. To my knowledge, they both are generally smaller than you're describing, but at least one place I've found listed P. tubularia as being able to grow to that size.

I don't know for sure if it's either of them, but those are the two I know at the moment.

Thanks! I'll try to get a size comparison photo
