The Little Things

So I started setting up my new tank and remembered how many little things there are that you don’t necessarily need, but stuff that will help you a lot. It’s always some little thing you don’t think of. For example, I forgot to buy a pump for my first large water change so I ended up bailing the water in with a jug a gallon at a time.

So I’m curious, what little things have you found that help make your life easier? Tips and tricks, small tools for cleaning or feeding, cord and equipment management?

Turkey baster, hand towels, 5g buckets, specimen container, measuring cups, glass scraper/magnetic, power strips with individual switches for each receptacle...just to name a few.
