The Mediocreef

Also, working on various versions of an angled frag holder. Here's one I got.

Get this:

I just got for all my printers I was so floored...
Never blue tape or aqua net again...
some I got dbl-sided textured, some smooth/textured.

Nice! Ad you can see. The blue take needs a re-up. It's actually blue tape and glue stick. I can't get it to stick with just tape.

It's cloudy.

The 15 is broken down with the leather rock in the big tank (with the tailspot blenny because he went into hiding as I was pulling it out).

I still have some rock rearranging to do before I like what I see but is coming along.

Sand and cuc are also in the 120. everything there will have some param adjusting to do over the next few days. My goal is to get all the livestock moved tomorrow. Coral will go on racks for placement later. I will probably rinse out the canister in the sump or leave it running as a pod home.

Also also, I made lids for most of the holes. I don't know how to design a grid but I do know how to set the top and bottom of the print to 0, so check mate.

I wish had this for my eel tank! That is a far prettier and effective solution.

I'm not sure how solid of a solution it will be. They fit loosely. But they were pretty easy to design and print though.
Well my solution is to badly cut bits of plastic with kitchen scissors so I'm still impressed.

If it works...and how much time do you spend looking at them?

I have some acrylic I am thinking of cutting for the main lids. Kraken lids are out of the budget atm. I need to make a frame though and my build plate for the printer isn't big enough. @Projects with Sam any ideas for a build plate that is too small?

design a solution. sometimes its just a matter of gluing the different parts together or designing an inter-locking system.
The model plane guys use carbon rods then design their prints to slide over the rod and use it for alignment and strength.

The carbon rods are a good idea. I'm also puzzling the overhangs. I don't want to use supports but might have to.

flip the part over when you print it so there are no overhangs.

Tank transfers are so stressful. Hope everything does well!
Thanks, it was just a rough day in general, starting at work. also some poor planning. I didn't have a tank for the coral while I did everything else, which is dumb because I have 3 ten-gallon tanks around the house that would have been great for the purpose.

Water is a lot clearer this morning and most of the fish have been sighted. coral are still covered in mucous.
I'm sore, the dog has forgotten the stress of the night before. The wife is watching the tank for dish sighting too: even on her own initiative.

not a huge fan of the scape, it might get changed at some point, but I need to be aware of where the coral are going.

Is there something up with him? or is it stress stripes?

Side note: I love photographing through acrylic!

Stress stripes he looks good otherwise though.
