I forget the thread we were talking about it on, so it's here now. @Projects with Sam the glass feels smooth, but not smooth like my glass stove top, so I'm going with a not so smooth print bed.
ooo ok; I think you bought a special print bed that temp is king; and probably not good with AquaNet.
I just use tempered glass. I'm a dinosaur... Should probably buy PEI surface...

time to replace my heating cartridge... first time in 3 years!

I'm pretty sure it was this one.
3 years is a good run.

Also, someone in the neighborhood as a 120 for sale, canister filter too for $400. And yesterday an acrylic 120 with sump and plumbing popped up for the same price. Now here is the question, those who have more experience buying used and bigger tanks, is that a reasonable price? We are talking about upgrading both fresh and salt and a 120 is the biggest that will fit our house.

120 is a cool footprint. I bought my 110 tank only for $100. I got both of the 125s for free...

120s are big enough that if you have patience people just want them out...
$400 is too much in my opinion unless it is cherry... New 125s are $400 without stand at Petco when they have their sales.

It's the biggest my living room will hold, and I may need a shorter tv stand to fit them.

I was on the fence, that's why I asked. I can get a new 120 for $450. I haven't seen bigger than 75 at petco, even online. having the filters included saves me hassle and $ but I will still make a lower offer, and at some degree want them to reject it; I have a lot going on at the moment. I could just have a longer water test in the yard before setting it up though.

Worst they can say is no. I always lowball on second hand stuff. I dont think it is insulting to offer what you want to pay for it.
I've even gotten so stodgy in my old age I haggle at retail stores.

I "rescued" 3 Australian Rainbowfish, 3 Clown Loaches, and 2 Yellow Labridochromes years ago. I raised the Clown Loaches to about 6" and traded 1 for 3 Fluval 404 canisters and some other odds and ends aquarium related products....

He says "old age" because he's like 35?.

I took some 8" dojo loaches free. They were going to be in the angel tank, but a little too active so they went to the lfs and turned into coral.
