I can’t see the underside of the tank. Maybe I’ll move some sand around
no don't do that,look for streaks ,where water may have dripped in ,if not,just clean area,then clean again 20 min later ,then watch from there ;)
 
Also does anyone know what kind of algae this is

Nah that’s my bulkhead lol the creep I’m referring to is on the front right side of the tank.
most likely lowest point in bottom of tank,running inside trim

Nitrite 0
Alk about 9-9.5
Ammonia 0
phos? and lighting hrs/intensity, could also be factor
 
This looks like brown algae. Be cautious.... because this is a key indicator youre about to have some hair.

No clue. That’s what it is according to Red Sea. Should I feed more?
you could dup that cup of skimmate back in system ,will help ;)
 
No thanks. I feed light anyways. Usually do 1/4 of a thing of mysis or a bunch of pellets. I’ll double it and see how it goes
If all else fails, a little nitrate dosing is easy. Especially on a small tank. The math to figure it out is easy and a small bag of sodium nitrate will go a long way. Basically dose enough of your stock solution to get some color on the test. Most corals need a little and when it is 0 it makes it hard for good bacteria and all those little critters like micro fauna to survive. Then you end up with Dinos. Dinos suck lol.
