I believe things happen for a reason. I have gained another family here. I don't think that is by accident.

@Fin How’s your wife?
A little better. They took her staples out yesterday and the huge bruise on her derriere is dissipating finally now that the huge blood clot is gone. A little issue with the IV antibiotics at home. She was getting too much in her system through the pump that they gave us. New pump that has been reprogrammed will go back online tomorrow morning. I am not really crazy about administering these drugs through a PICC line that ends close to her heart. Not sure this is really the sort of thing that should be done at home. It is working though. I am just not comfortable with it. I will have reef syringes for years though from all of the saline solution we use to flush the ports every day.

I can’t imagine how difficult this is for her (and you) When I had to have a IV steroid cocktail everyday, the hospital had a ”patient advocate” help us arrange a in-home nurse. She came in daily to hook me up. Maybe they have something similar? Just make sure they stay away from the “Dr. Pepper”.

She has to stay hooked up to it for 24 hours and I get to switch out the bags. It is kinda like dealing with reefing test kits and an APEX. LOL!

Hopefully, she doesn’t wake up with fish drawn around her port;)

It's better then staying at the hospital. She will heal and recover better at the home

On a sad note, we lost Gold Finger. He was a yellow Betta. We've had him for years.

I talked to Mom last night and Dad had a decent day. He was pleased that Andrew is going to hunt for treasure just like he has done since 1976. Traditions.
This made me happy :)

Well, this made me sad, but I bet he had a well fed, happy life.
