i did some maintenance on my 10g bc I got bad algae when my blinds came down

I was off playing Easter bunny..putting my daughters basket together. She has had the same “basket” since she was 6 mos old. Each year the basket is in a different place and there are individual foam bunny paw prints that lead from her room to the basket. It was a little tricky when we had cats. They liked to play with the paws

I tried to move my frogspawns colony today. Every time I grabbed it, it broke. Now I have five frags, 5-6 heads each on my sandbed. Ugh

I dose manually but you have a much larger tank!!

I have had a doser still in the box for a couple of years, I had to figure out a way to build in a safeguard for the part one Kh in case of a head failing on.
I have figured it out now so just need to set it up, three heads will dose two part.
I also have an ato still in the box, need to figure out a safeguard for that ie a backup level sensor.

I used to run computer controlled pharmaceutical production plants, everything had at least one fail safe backup!

I use a physical float and an optical level sensor on my 'ATO' now. Physical float shuts off the dosing line at the end of the valve pretty much 100%, I have my flow rate turned down and use a solenoid just to open up the line.

The one I have is optical I just need to figure out a float backup.
