Good Morning Miracle Tank Tribe! Beautiful out here at Glass Cages this am. Come out for a visit. There are more than 80 acres, so social distancing is no problem here. Peaceful enough to give your mind a break. How about a Miracle Tank Retreat?

I'd have a tough time social distancing from the longhorns as they're awafully cute!

Looks like you really are close to Orange Beach. I used to enjoy walking across the street from the Island House (I couldn’t legally drive for four days) and eat at The Shrimp Basket. Also that place behind it, by the dock. Can’t remember the name of it (as I can’t remember much of my visits there). Was it “Wolf something?” Can’t remember. Ha! I guess I remember the Shrimp Basket because we usually ate there earlier in the day.

It just came to me - "Wolf Bay" restaurant. I think that's right. I am sure I missed plenty of good places to eat, but I didn't want to wander off too far by foot, in fear of not being able to find my way back and end up in the Orange Beach drunk tank. The hotel had a decent little restaurant and it was easier to just stumble in there for breakfast and some lunches

Wolf Bay Lodge...and yes, about 3-4 miles from Orange Beach.

That one fella on the left doesn't look too pleased about the paparazzi interrupting his breakfast He's got the look like he's seriously debating whether or not he should expend the effort to remove the problem, I know I get the same look on my face every time I'm presented with the issue of whether or not I should get out of bed in the morning, the struggle is real!

Five years - and COUNTING! I am not getting any younger either..

One day a bunch of boxes of NSW and live rock is going to show up at your door and you better be prepared for it!

Funny thing is, everything is still there, shrimp basket, Island House, and Wolf Bay restaurant., may be a little different since you were last there, but all are still up and running.

I would think The Island House has to be somewhat different. They had just remodeled the last time I was there and then they got bought out by a large company (can't remember who). It was always a pleasant place to stay. The staff there always treated our group very well. The entire hotel was rented for the annual event. So, how they put up with all of those overserved patrons and still treated us so well, was amazing.

So more than I wanted to pay. All the jebao are sold out in my size or amazon is holding back shipments and wont delivered until sometime in may.

Do you want my address? LOL! Honestly, the tank is pretty much ready for water. I do need to finish the electrical and plumb the UV, chiller, refugium, and Siporax reacter. That is about all that needs to be done. Well, that and refinishing the canopy and stand doors. I have been considering just putting the substrate, rock, and water in and letting it run for a while to get things started. Then I can add the other things later. I wanted to have everything done before getting it wet, but it really isn't necessary.

The fibs where soaked in apple cider vinegar and dry rubbed in a weber brown sugar rub.
The beef was rubbed in an Weber dry rub original.
