Thanks! It was a quiet day today. It rained all day so a good day to chill, watching the tank inhabitants go about their lives, and not much else, except for making a white chicken chili for dinner.
Friday I took the afternoon off and went sailing for the first time this season. So good to be back on the water again! Then yesterday our good friends came over for happy hour and pizza. My buddy and I opened the bottle of Blantons I got for my birthday and smoked cigars. The bourbon didn’t stand a chance. 3 hours and it was empty! Lol.

Great birthday weekend!

It was delicious...gotta wait a little bit before I warm up my homemade peach pie for dessert ;Drool
sure just rub a lil bit more salt ;)

Typical May- fishing, gardening, planting, graduations, butterscotch moonshine and grilling and some states reopening.

Thanks, everyone. He was a great pal. Glad we had a short walk this morning. That was his favorite thing to do. I just didn't know that would be our last one.

Fin, I know there really aren't any words that make us feel better when we lose a companion, be it 2 legged or 4. I hope you find comfort in knowing he's in a better place and no longer in pain. Its good that you got to spend that last walk with him and rest easy knowing you did that for him. I try every day to prepare for the day Boog leaves me, he's 12 and his age is really starting to show. But its definitely not a day I want to go through any time soon. Agian, my friend, I'm sorry for your loss.
