Dottyback and tang get along fine. The dottyback did attack the Royal gramma I added a few weeks ago and seems to have inflicted some damage. The gramma now has no balance and hides in the back corner. The tang came later and is bigger than the dottyback. She’s the new tank boss, lol.

I wouldn't mind a Royal Gramma or an orchid dottyback, but I've heard they are major jerks.

My orchid is peaceful. It was the splendid that was a bully.. until the tang came along.

Dotty back seem to go for the underside of the fish and kill them.

Just took a look back on my thread to the tank just before I moved out of my home. The tank is night and day since the crash I had around the move, but I still love it every day.

I have been thinking about an Orchid Dottyback recently (Pseudochromis fridmani). Beautiful fish and purportedly one of the least aggressive Dottybacks.

I have never had a dottyback because of their reputation, very pretty fish.

I think my Clownfish can hold their own. To be honest, what has held me back is not having a lid. They are darting fish and known jumpers.

I have a neon dottytback. While it holds its own, it's not aggressive perhaps because the coral beauty is constantly swimming through every passage and has conditioned the dottyback let it just pass by.

However, that doesn't worry me as does my concern the rock work will tumble due to its round the clock excavation of the sand bed under the rocks.

Frags are at the FedEx sorting facility in Jamaica as of 7:43. I think they need to go to Melville to get on a local delivery truck. The delivery time is still listed as by 10:30 am.

with the new traffic volumes, the drive time from Jamaica (JFK) to my house is 40 minutes

The local facility in Melville is 20 minutes away from me directly south.
