Lights aren't on yet. The decorator crab from hell never spread it. He did kill most of mine though. LB.

I would not mind it throughout the tank. Need to be willing to trim and toss like Chaero at some point probably. I would like to even cover the bare bottom in Xenia and keep it off the rockwork.

I was thinking that after my tank crashed I did not try to recreate the old tank at all. I let the tank tell me what to do. Now, instead of growing the tank I think I want, I am caring for the tank that comes to me naturally.

I love them, but I definitely want to isolate them in the Miracle. It's taken me a few years of observation to see how invasive some can be.

I had these little yellow translucent polyps when I had my second tank. They were all over the tank like freckles and I loved it. Cut them from the glass every day. Had mushrooms everywhere in that tank too.

I'm planning to have a "naturalized" tank. I don't want to fight things. I'm just trying to plan for easier control.

The baby nem is now the size of my hand. I never target feed her. I actually saw the clown swimming around her yesterday. I think she'd be fine to host now that she's bigger.

Lights are quite different. Water and food the same. Is your Alkalinity low (like me you have no idea, right? ). When I stopped watching Alkalinity is about when mine lost its bubbles.

I rarely test.

My calcium hangs between 430-440, alk is always on the low end.

I only really test Salinity (often), pH and Ammonia if something seems off.

My parameters are pretty consistent. Even in the 8g.
