Has anyone here ever had a yellow coris wrasse? LFS suggested I get one to replace my melanarus (had to give him back..he was a bully) to help with tiny pests/worms. Opinions?

I had one, when it got to about 3 inches or so and transitioned he killed the leopard wrasse it had been with for years, they grew up together!

good day all ..got to see full moon set ,full orb,half of orb of sun this morn,at same time,really cool,have never seen both like that before!!! .now its hot as he double hockey sticks out there !!

edit: not that bad 95 w heat index 101 is all

@Dolelo96 I kept One for a couple years in a 32g Biocube. Got him really small and he did great in that tank. All around very peaceful fish for me and I cant say Ive ever heard of one going rogue until reading Simons post here. Melanarus seem to be hit or miss on turning aggressive.

Tiki cocktail for the day: Trader Vic’s Grog

1/2 Lime - squeeze retain shell
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz grapefruit juice
1 oz light rum (I used J Wray & Nephew)
1 oz gold rum (I used Appleton)
1 oz dark rum (I used Goslings Black Seal)
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz Trader Vic’s Grog Concentrate

Shake with ice and serve in a Mai-Tai glass over crushed ice.

Garnish with spent lime shell & sprig of fresh mint.

This is very smooth and you can’t really taste the alcohol. That is not always good.

Cooked chicken, rice and vegetables for the kids tonight. As a vegetarian, not something I do too often. Used some garlic and soy sauce to flavor. Molly said it was awesome. Logan said too well done. That is how I ate meat 20+ years ago, very well done. I had whiskey for dinner.
