lol ok so people r just posting random stuff?
There is some serious knowledge here. There are long term reefers who are amazing and helpful.

We share life and occasionally there is a loving violent shove in direction. We call that enabling. The last to receive a loving shove was @Erin O . We helped her through one of the worst nightmares a reefer could have. Power out for 4 days.

Oh there is a feet thing in here. I'm not who started it. I think it was @NY_Caveman or @JoshH .

Hey saltaholics had the good fortune to visit CRABBY48 RedSea 425 and take a few hundred pics and cpl vids. I did a quick scrub and put this together so everyone can see his beautiful tank
tells me video is private?

The problem with Pukani rock is that it is so porous it takes forever to mature. Fully mature. I have 170 lbs of the stuff and after 2 years of it being in my display it still isn't fully mature. I can take a piece, lift it, turn it 180 degrees, and it will look like I just put it in. I recently took a rock out and split it in half and the inside was as good as I put it in on day one. I expected the inside split to be like that but the nooks and crannies? Forget it.

Affordable when it was available but boy does it take forever to mature. I'd never recommend or use dry rock again.
I have several years to the large build so I’m ok with letting it mature. The plan is to acquire a little bit of ocean rock to seed my dry rock but just a little bit I ordered some live ocean rock and was not impressed they were like round dense boulders nothing like the real stuff and questioned its denitrification capacity related to its density/internal pore structure

I haven't even read what was posted. I'm guessing somebody was negative. Just not in the mood for any more negative right now. Life is already kicking me while I'm down. Dad is still in CCU, my husband's pathology report wasn't good, Andrew broke another kid's tooth by accident while at Boy Scouts. Pretty sure I'll owe at least 600.00 for that. Almost 3 week's pay. Yay. Go me.

When it rains it pours. I'm not shure why you would have to pay for dentist during a boyscout outing. Thats crazy

I'm very sorry to hear about your hubby and your folks. Its a lot to deal with by your self. Your reefing friends are here for you. You always have shoulders here.

A song comes to mind. Lean on me

Oh No Katrina. You know that saying, It gets worse before it gets better.
MY PRAYER FOR BETTER !!

I have found a couple of aptasia in the dream. I can't pull the rock and peppermint shrimp are almost impossible to find at the moment in my neck of the woods.

I would like to cover these. Suggestion on what I could use underwater.

Using a syringe, mix kalkwasser powder into a thin paste and inject into center core of aptasia and watch them melt

Mine was in salt water for 5 years. It is pest free though. :-)

Will that make them spread.
It can, just like lemon juice, joe's juice, and aiptasia-x. I'm on board with Katrina's plan, introduce a few berghia noodlebranches and let them do what nature dictates.

Hooray obligate feeders!

Will a leapord wipe them out. I know how I ended up them. My green finger leather had some on the rock. I superglued them must not been in time.

If it is just a few small ones, I recommend “F Aiptasia.” It encrusts them and I have never gad one come back. That Aiptasia X junk is a joke.
