A couple was married 60 years. They kept no secrets from each other. The wife, however, had a shoebox that she told her husband to never open, which he didn’t. But when the wife was dying, the man asked if he could now look inside. She said yes. In it, he found two crocheted dolls and $20,000. He asked her about it. “My grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage is to never argue. She said if I ever got angry with you, I should keep quiet and crochet a doll.” The husband was moved to tears, for only two dolls were in the box. “But, Honey, what about the money? “Oh,” she said, “that’s what I made from selling all the other dolls.”

Thoughts please people as the doctors need bp numbers when I go in, just monitored on my machine as 125 / 87 at 99 bpm?

i cannot answer that ,but curios ,doc,told me to stop checking mine years ago "anxiety" said just adding too, i am almost 52 now still don't know what should be they just tell me i'm fine,but them numbers seem about right i think

Wish I had known about a “wheeled magnet”. Had our roof replaced two years ago and STILL finding roof nails. My foot found one last year;Dead

Where are you in relation to the storm?

We are only slightly east of the projected path of the storm, land fall will most likely be less than 75 miles away in a straight line...projecting 10-15 inches of rain for my area over the next 3 days, plus tornadoes. severe thunderstorms and flash flooding. Was just informed by boss that tomorrow is normal work day, but that is likely to change as day progresses.

Surprised your roofer didn't use one afterwards, though sometimes it's hard to get everything...

My boss tried to get me to come in the day after hurricane andrew. Um, yea, nope..not going to happen.

I seriously “dislike intensely” hurricanes. Really don’t want to play with them anymore;Woot

“Dislike intensely” is what what we tried to teach our daughter to say instead of “I hate”. She heard someone say it at a playgroup and she was off and running
