you know i thought for years,we can put a tomahawk through a keyhole from hundreds of miles away, what about dropping a precussion bomb right in the eye of these friggin things, blow them apart;)in theory i think would work if detonated at right height..25 years in thought;)

I'm up doing weather checks...just some steady/slightly heavy at times rain and 15-20 mph steady winds and gusts up to 30 mph right now...but definitely gonna get worse come tomorrow... ;Wideyed
I see where it has weakened to a 1 this morning. That’s a good thing. Hope it stays that way.

Sally is getting stronger...Cat 2 now, expected to be High Cat 2 or low Cat 3 by landfall tomorrow night/Wednesday morning...track has shifted to the east which is not good for me. Now expecting 15-20 inches of rain. Have also recommended evacuation for those of us on the island, but for now we're staying. Got to finish prepping tonight and in the morning. Have 2 battery back ups for the tank, but not sure thats going to be enough.

Q. What’s the only rock group that has four guys who don’t sing?
A. Mount Rushmore!

Although a good thing, hurricanes are only classified by windspeed. This can be misleading. Sally will have significant storm surge on the coast (possible 6’-9’ in some places) and this morning I see that 30” of rain is possible since it is so slow moving. Definitely nothing to sneeze at.

Same thought here. Being a marine blowing things up always fixes something. Why not blow up a hurricane?

Still alive. Still waiting on power. So much for our substation being a priority. Ha. Staying at mom’s house though. Power and all other utilities. Waiting for some cooler weather. Guess that will be a while.
