Exactly! You gotta wrap the bacon around the steak, put some feta or blue cheese on top and finish it in the oven. Serve with mashed potatoes and broccoli
Never had feta, but blue cheese is amazing!

@sfin52 try this:

1. buy quality steak from the butcher, not the shelf
2. Take a fork and poke tiny holes all over both sides of the steak
3. Season it well (now step 2 makes sense!)
4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
4. Sear all sides of the steak in a pan, don’t cook, just sear. Use lots of butter
5. Put the steak in an oven safe dish
6. (Optional) wrap bacon around the steak, precooked about 50% in the microwave
6.5 (optional) cover in quality feta or blue cheese
7. Pour the butter from your pan over everything
8. Cook in oven to desired temp, this will require finesse and experience! If you put bacon and/or cheese it takes longer. Filets take longer than ribeyes, etc. for reference, I cook a filet to rare/medium rare in 14 minutes with no add-ons to insulate it, takes closer to 20 minutes with a cheese topping for a thick piece of meat.

9. sell your grill and buy more corals!
and keep defibulater at arms reach

That's all good but a good steak with nothing on it is really good

I had the grill on just a few days ago, can't wait for BBQ season again, pretty much every meal in the summer I cook on the BBQ. Last year we started making our own burgers, man oh man did I gain a few pounds.. our old favorite is homemade pasta, we have a kitchenaid mixer we use exclusively for it with all the lovely attachments. Made every one aside from the ravioli one, maybe this summer.
It's BBQ grill all year.

I had to dig up a couple of old pics of my little buddy, Mugsy. I sure miss this little guy.

I’ll have you know I got to page 201, but my progress stalled when life interrupted. By the time I got back, the miracle tank thread started. Had to make a judgement call..miracle won. It had absolutely nothing to do with reading 1800+ pages vs 66
Whatever helps you sleep at night
