I cemented it down after the last time. Maybe I’ll just glue it to his head like some reindeer antlers since he likes it so much...He has good taste.

@nager What percentage do you mix your hydrogen peroxide? Are you diluting from 35%?
Thanks. I don't think that is even available that way here in the good ol' US of A. Not that I have seen or heard of at the regular pharmacies anyway. I just got some 35% through an online health food company. Maybe at a local health food store, but I don't spend much time eating healthy food, so...I buy from the pharmacy, 9% over the counter.
There are also varying opinions on what strength to use, ranging anywhere from 6% to 9%. I will likely start out at 6%.Thanks. For those wondering what the heck we are talking about, I am trying to figure out what percentage of H2O2 to use with the catalyst in an Oxydator.
Simon or Gary, help me understand. What is the difference in the Oxydator and simply adding H2O2 to the system. Is it simply the control of the speed of release due to the action of the catalyst?
If I simply add H2O2 to the system with a dropper, it would seem I am also going to get some release of O2, but it will likely occur at the surface and immediately gas off. With both methods it seems I would get less algae growth (clean the glass less often) but I would not get the maximum O2 benefit with the dropper.
