Hippie kid is very excited to go to the beach. He has no idea yet there is a fishing pier next door. He said he's looking forward to us walking on the beach and talking. That made me smile.

Best is live phyto on a constant drip from the sump to upstream flow, honestly it benefits the whole tank, but it takes space to culture it. If you buy the right culture, its buy once and done.

Myrtle was the cheapest option. Maybe not as quiet as I'd like, but it's still the beach.

Hello!! Im here, just never on. Sooo... School is closed for the next week then starting march 19th to the end of the semester we will continue online... gotta love the coronavirus... Well, if we’re getting technical about it..my mother-in-law is 1/2 mile from the beach and my brother-in-law just bought a house directly on the ocean in S Ponte Vedra Beach (he’s a show off)

If I remember right, I don't think those can be exposed to air at any point. So even if you are careful, if may not have been handled correctly somewhere along the way.

Years ago, our local reef club went to the Houston Zoo and got a behind the scenes tour. We came to a tank that had lots of brightly colored sponges and one of our members asked our guide how they managed to keep them alive. Her reply was that when they die, they get new ones.

Yes, go to new smyrna. Whatever u do don't go to Anna Maria Island on the west coast. it's horrible.;Smuggrin take it from someone who was born and raised there.

And be careful if you go to Sanibel Island. Sand fleas come out in the evening and bite the heck out of you. Was there for a wedding (ok, it was my wedding ) in 2015. Half of our guests needed medical attention when they got home !!!

This is the x to go. I was just checking out a flight from Philly to Miami on American and it was $75 round trip. I'm planning a trip to Madrid this September and American has it for 17,000 reward miles each way. It's normally 30,000 miles.

I have a friend in florida that's been hitting the beaches for years with a metal detector. He literally has/had boxes full of jewelry.
