I have a huge box of snacks coming for the neighborhood kids today. One parent shouldn't foot the bill when feeding them. I'm doing my part.

Working. Lost my work phone I was tearing the house and truck apart. I believe I forgot to lock the truck and the phone was lifted.
Found termites at two houses. 5300k in sales. I let my buddy take them, he makes more off the sales than I do. In return he throws production my way that he does. I make more off of that than he does. Working on a bird netting job at the moment.

The local pantry and churches did a big food drive after the holidays, I thought it was odd at the time, now I see it as Divine

The local shelter here used to tell us (Parrot Head Club) that lots of people donate food around the holidays, but when they really need it is during the spring/summer months. So that is when we had our food drive.

We did several fundraisers every year. Food drive, Kid's Christmas toy drive and our main fun/fundraiser, which annually contributed to a few of the following each year: a local no-kill dog shelter, a local charity that paid for wigs for cancer patients and some other expenses not covered by insurance, the local Red Cross and a local home for autistic kids and even had a sponsorship for the local Cystic Fibrosis walk. We also participated in bayou cleanups and had a stretch of road by our port that we picked up trash on. So, we were not just a bunch of drunken Jimmy Buffett fans, which is what most people think. Ha.

In Washington state that might cause perplexity and confusion. We do have The Sativia Sisters coffee and Marijuana shop right next to one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. Talk about natural symbiosis lol! You can wobble as fast as you can between spots that serve your crave lol. Not my thing but it has changed the customer base for the restaurant. (No longer our favorite restaurant as it has new owners and cook).
