Tonight and it's been fraged twice.

When you switch from one salt to another, do you have to completely drain and replace the water in your tank?
I wouldn’t. Just start using the new salt in small water changes. Don’t do anything quickly or all at once.

I used the original Tropic Marin in my 75. I had good luck with it. My 140 I used AquaCraft Marine Environment. I had good results with it. I quit using it because I read so much bad stuff on the forums about it, but I wasn't experiencing any problems at all. I quit using it and the tank declined. It could have been for other reasons, but you can't put too much stock into what others say works or doesn't work for them. Lesson learned.

For the new tank, I ordered HW Marine Mix and I have used some of that on my nanos. Then I retired and became more cost-conscious and ordered the Reef Crystals off of Amazon because it was a little over $40 for 200-gallon mix. Of course, there is no water in the tank yet, so there is that. Ha.
